given the scale of OLINT and the FX experience of David Smith, there was little doubt in my mind since i heard of these schemes back in 2006, that there had to be questionable money launudering activity involved. this survived till now because the authorities are probably more interested in the ‘big kahuna’ or money behind the venture rather than the relatively small sums by intl standards that were invested in the fund by its members. the recent shuttering of OLINT would suggest that either the authorities were close to finding out more on the big fish, or the big fish was increasingly concerned by the widespread debate on OLINT drawing too much attention.

My only hope is DS remains alive and kicking throughout the remainder of this saga.
